Job Introduction

. This role is part of our London kitchen, focused on delivering high‑quality, safe, and freshly produced products to market.

• Work within all health & safety and food safety control measures.
• Follow product key cards to ensure all products meet Bigham’s standards.
• Contribute to a positive working environment and help new team members feel welcome.
• Highlight any improvements to kitchen leaders and support continuous improvement.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Assist in operational KPI delivery and material variance tracking where applicable.
• Record downtime and lost time accurately when required.

• Follow absence and return‑to‑work policies.

• Follow all H&S controls and training received.
• Notify managers of any H&S concerns or near misses.

• Escalate any key card readability issues immediately.
• Engage in problem solving and identify improvement opportunities.

• Strong understanding of health and food safety.
• Effective engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Bigham’s products and processes.
• Proficiency in spoken English and passing Bigham’s English assessment.
• Multi‑skilled by end of probation to support current operational skill gaps.

• Work within company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver products safely, authentically, and with quality.
• Adhere to the health and safety policy to protect staff safety.
