This is a Senior Technical Manager role with a difference. You will be working in a factory supplying top‑tier products to a unique range of customers. We need an experienced food technical expert who understands team leadership and development, working closely with commercially driven retail customers. • Developing the technical team and implementing a proactive approach to the technical agenda for the site.
• Working closely with the Senior Team, collaborating cross‑functionally.
• Being the main point of contact for major retail and other B2B customers for the site.
• Ensuring the technical team has the correct balance of skills in place to support the business.
• Planning and monitoring Technical KPIs, reviewing trends and taking the appropriate action.
• Heading up technical‑related projects for the business.
• Embedding an ‘audit‑ready’ culture.

• Detailed understanding of retailer audits and the BRC audit process.
• A listener with the engagement and communication skills to motivate and drive a positive environment for the team.
