Overview
A great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Governance Manager - an integral senior professional management and leadership post within the Division of QEH Medicine. The post holder will be an expert in the field of quality and clinical governance and will support the Divisional Management Team with all aspects of quality and clinical governance management, providing key support to the Divisional Directors of Nursing/Midwifery/Professions on divisional risk management, governance arrangements, patient safety and quality improvement across the Division.
The post holder will provide support and guidance to clinicians and managers in all aspects of quality and clinical governance and ensure that the divisional commitment to managing risk in a coordinated, systematic, transparent and focused way is achieved. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the divisional governance framework within the Division and Directorates and will coordinate the administration of the Divisional Governance Meetings.
The Divisional Governance Lead will also be accountable for ensuring safety of services and delivery of high standards of patient care.
- Support the Divisional Management Team with all aspects of quality and clinical governance management and provide key support to the Divisional Directors of Nursing/Midwifery/Professions on risk management, governance arrangements, patient safety and quality improvement across the Division.
- Provide support and guidance to clinicians and managers in all aspects of quality and clinical governance and ensure the divisional commitment to managing risk in a coordinated, systematic, transparent and focused way.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the divisional governance framework within the Division and its Directorates and for the co-ordination and facilitation of the administration of the Divisional Governance Meetings.
- Be responsible and accountable for ensuring safety of services and delivery of high standards of patient care.
