Within this context, we have a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished and ambitiousindividual to join us as our new Monitoring Officer and Deputy Director of Legal &Democratic Services. This is a pivotal leadership role where you can help shape howa modern council operates. You will strengthen our governance culture, enablinginnovation and ensuring that new ideas, new ways of working and new partnerships areunderpinned by strong, confident decision making.

We are looking for a forward thinking local government legal professional who cando far more than offer advice: someone who can influence organisational thinking,anticipate emerging challenges, and help senior leaders navigate complex change.

You will bring strategic insight and the ability to design governance that supportstransformation, encourages creativity and protects the interests of our residents.
