AboutThe Team You’ll Be Working In
A high functioning service with a strong team ethos always working to the One Hounslow Values.
Responsible for supporting, in partnerships with team managers holding line management responsibilities
- Senior Practitioners leading the community social work programme.
- The delivery of the Assisted and Support Year in Employment programme for newly qualified social workers.
Leadership responsibility for the Training and Development Team, with supervisory responsibility for the Team Manager.
About YouYou will be a qualified social worker with substantial experience across all areas of Adult Social Care practice. You will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to promoting the rights and wellbeing of adults will be the bridge between the Departments Senior Leadership Team and the Social Care workforce
Essential Criteria- Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Excellent understanding of Health, and Adult Social Care at an operational and strategic level within a breadth of settings.
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance and evidence-based practice improvement.
- Striving for and achieving excellent standards, working collaboratively to support others to achieve this, using positive influence and coaching.
- Excellent understanding of workforce development, recruitment and retention in Adult Social Care.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership working skills.
