The RoleWe are seeking a commercially driven Contracts Manager who can also lead Business Development activity within the high-end fit-out sector. This role blends operational project leadership with strategic growth and client acquisition.
The successful candidate will effectively become the No.2 in the UK business, working closely with senior leadership to drive turnover, profitability, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities Contracts Management- Oversee delivery of multiple high-end fit-out projects
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Commercial control: budgets, variations, cost reporting
- Programme management and quality assurance
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Leverage existing industry network to introduce new clients, designers, and consultants
- Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, project managers, and agents
- Help establish preferred supply chain in the UK
- Identify and secure new project opportunities
- Support bid strategy and tender presentations
- Proven experience delivering super high-end fit-out projects
- Strong background in luxury residential, five-star hotels, or premium retail
- Experience working for a main contractor or high-end fit-out contractor
- Established network within the London construction and design market
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to grow with a business
- Experience helping launch or grow a business division
- Knowledge of European supply chains or off-site manufacturing
- Leadership or senior management aspirations
