We're hiring for an Office Manager to join an international architecture and design practice.
LocationLondon - Hybrid working (up to 2 days remote after probation)
LanguagesFluency in English is essential. French or Spanish language skills are an advantage but not essential.
Company backgroundOur client is an international architecture and design practice with offices across Europe.
Job responsibilities of the Office ManagerTo support the team in the London studio, as Office Manager you will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the office. Working closely with the directors and the international Support team, this role supports the London office and also provides remote support to their office in Spain.
Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the daily running of the London studio, ensuring a professional and well‑organised environment
- Manage office logistics including supplies, equipment and maintenance
- Support health & safety compliance and maintain all related documentation
- Manage HR administration including onboarding, inductions, reviews, training and employee records
- Support recruitment activities (advertising, scheduling, candidate communication)
- Maintain QA documentation and assist with ISO procedures
- Provide administrative support to senior management, including internal reporting and communications
- Support for Spanish Office (approx. 20% of the time). Collaboration also with the offices in France and Italy when required
- Assist with accounting and reporting tasks as needed
- Fluency in English is essential. French or Spanish language skills are an advantage but not essential
- Experience in an Office Manager role ideally within an architecture, engineering, or design environment
- Experience in HR operations
- Experience supporting QA and ISO procedures or similar within a structured environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced setting
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with the confidence to work independently
- Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism and consistent delivery
£34,000 – £40,000 + excellent benefits
