Senior Manager Rewards & Recognition Manager role for a leading global law firm. (This role will also be considered at manager level). This exciting communications role oversees the strategic planning and execution of the firm’s directory and award submissions and plays a pivotal role in the growth and visibility of the firm’s brand. Working closely with high profile lawyers to promote them as industry leaders, this role offers a fantastic platform to build an elite internal network.
The firm works with global clients from FTSE 100s to emerging enterprises across several sectors, so this role will have a dynamic and broad coverage of all areas and give true variety keeping it interesting and fast paced.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the global Rankings & Recognition team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Guide and support the firm’s business development/regional marketing teams and lawyers in preparing, submitting, and following up on global directory submissions, offering strategic insights to improve rankings and recognition.
- Evaluate and determine which rankings, awards, and recognitions to pursue in alignment with firm priorities and BD strategy.
- Oversee annual budget process for directory submissions, including negotiation of contracts with external consultants, maximizing ROI from firm spend.
- Develop strong relationships with, and be the primary liaison with directory editors, researchers, award organisers and external agencies and consultants.
- Deliver training, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for lawyers and marketing staff on submissions strategy, content quality, and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with BD, Communications, and Marketing teams to integrate rankings and awards into broader business development initiatives.
The successful candidate will have strong persuasive writing skills with the judgement, integrity and confidence to make decisions and influence partners. Your CV will show strong experience in marketing communications and/or marketing roles, preferably in a professional services environment. You should have a good understanding of Sharepoint, Smart Survey as well as proficiency in MS Word and Excel. You will be adept at working in a fast pace environment and be able to grasp and apply new ideas (and persuade others to!).
Team leadership experience is essential.
