Job Purpose
As a Workflow Traffic Manager you will act as the central point of contact managing resource allocation, monitoring team capacity and ensuring our internal partners and creative team remain aligned.
You will report into the Studio Head and will optimize the In‑house Agencies productivity by scheduling, tracking and prioritizing projects to ensure projects are delivered on time.
You will work alongside other members of the creative team to ensure that timelines and project objectives are feasible, and that we meet, and where possible, exceed the expectations of our clients.
You’ll be working within brand guidelines, but will know how to push and develop work that brings differentiation to each brief and continues to engage and inspire our audience – this could include challenging clients’ perception and providing cost effective solutions that deliver on our brand promises.
Key Responsibilities- Creating and maintaining project schedules, assigning tasks to the appropriate resource and managing the lifecycle of projects from intake to completion.
- Responsible for the intake of all new project requests via Adobe Workfront and the triage to the appropriate project manager.
- Monitoring capacity across the London Studio and balancing workloads across the creative team.
- Ensuring the creative team have the resources required to begin a project.
- Ensuring time allocations are tracked and captured in Workfront.
- Ensuring that all completed work is thorough, accurate and within corporate constraints, both technically and creatively.
- Attending daily traffic meetings to review project statuses, deadlines and identify resourcing and capacity issues.
- Where required, provide assistance to the Studio Head and Creative Director.
We are looking for a Workflow Traffic Manager, who has proven experience in traffic management or project management within the creative or advertising industry. The suitable candidate does not need to have worked in‑house.
What is important is that they are a bright contributor and have a desire to ensure that everything that is produced in the In‑house Agency is of the highest standard.
On the job knowledge is more important than qualifications. Candidates would ideally have a higher education background, however exceptional candidates who do not meet the educational criteria may be considered provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
Skills- A strong understanding of the creative process and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Experience of working with creative workflow software or project management systems is expected. Adobe Workfront would be ideal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and responsive manner.
- Structured and organized approach.
- Ability to tactfully manage demanding clients.
- Budget and timeframe management.
- Experience of managing video production projects.
- Knowledge/understanding of financial services/markets is a bonus but not essential.
