Restaurant General Manager

CÉ LA VI London is looking for a dynamic and driven Restaurant General Manager to lead our flagship dining destination, drive exceptional hospitality standards, and build a high-performing team in a fast-paced, premium environment.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience at all times.
• Champion a strong hospitality-led culture, setting the tone through visible leadership and hands‑on involvement.
• Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a diverse team, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance.
• Drive service excellence by ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards and effective service recovery when required.
• Oversee scheduling, workforce planning, and labour optimisation in line with business needs.
• Collaborate closely with Culinary, Bar, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure operational alignment and commercial success.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety, food safety, and employment regulations.
• Lead training initiatives and performance reviews, supporting continuous development and succession planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in high‑end or luxury restaurant environments.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and creating a strong service‑driven culture.
• Exceptional communication, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
• Deep understanding of guest experience, service recovery, and premium hospitality standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
