Head of Management Accounting

Are you a finance leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams? This established consumer business, operating multiple iconic brands across retail and lifestyle sectors, is in search of a dynamic Head of Accounting & Reporting to join their senior finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful multi-brand group with a diverse portfolio spanning fashion, lifestyle and luxury homewares. Operating across 120+ stores with strong omnichannel presence, the business combines entrepreneurial spirit with established market positions.

With recent strategic acquisitions and ambitious growth plans across multiple retail sectors, this is a business that's scaling and evolving - offering genuine opportunities to shape finance operations and drive performance across an expanding portfolio.

You'll lead a team of 8 across 3 direct reports at Manager level, driving performance across all P&L areas including logistics, stores, payroll, marketing and digital operations. This is a pivotal role supporting strategic decision-making across multiple brands and channels.

• Leading a team of management accountants across multiple business units
• Fostering a high-performance culture focused on professional growth
• Driving change through credible leadership and effective teamwork
• Delivering month-end reporting within tight deadlines across revenue, margins, and costs
• Analysing store-level profitability and performance against KPIs across 120+ locations
• Presenting timely financial analysis to budget holders and senior management
• Collaborating with Commercial Finance on budgets, forecasts and long-term planning
• Challenging existing processes and drive automation initiatives
• Managing complex multi-channel, multi-brand reconciliations
• Ensuring balance sheet accuracy across all cost centres and business units
• Supporting external audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with proven post-qualification development
• Strong leadership experience building and managing finance teams
• Deep management accounting background in consumer/retail environment
• Multi-site operational experience (retail, FMCG, or hospitality)
• Multi-brand or multi-channel business exposure
• Store portfolio management and profitability analysis experience
• Process improvement and system automation projects
