We are a friendly, supportive and collaborative team comprising of Programme and Project Managers, Business Analysts and PMO, who manage the analysis and delivery of platform wide change programmes and projects.
Responsibilities- Project Management:
Establish project structure and governance. Lead the delivery of the project to scope, on time and within budget. Create and maintain high-quality project artefacts, including project plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, management information, RACI matrices, project dashboards, and status reports. - Vendor Management:
Work closely with key vendors, establish strong working relationships, building out joint plans and ensuring they meet key milestones. - Deliver High-Quality Artefacts:
Produce and maintain all key documentation required to underpin successful project delivery, ensuring information is clear, actionable, and accessible. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, capturing, challenging, and refining complex business requirements to align with project objectives. - Stakeholder Management:
Chair meetings—including Steer Co, Working Groups, and Stand-Ups—providing regular, clear updates on progress, risks, issues, and challenges, along with proposed solutions where appropriate. Prepare and present materials for all forums, such as roadmaps, milestone registers, and decision/action logs. Communicate effectively, tailoring messaging to the audience. Identify and document clear escalation paths, ensuring timely and transparent issue resolution. - Exemplary Leadership:
Act as a role model and advocate for project managers, fostering knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices. - Oversight of BA/Tech Teams and Deliverables:
Provide direction, guidance, and oversight to Business Analysts within the programme, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery of all business analysis outputs. - Drive Best Practice:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices, setting standards for project management excellence within the Platform Change function.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead PM role.
- Professional project management qualification (e.g., Prince2, PMP).
- Experience in projects involving Trading and Custody systems either via implementation projects, upgrades or migration exercises.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven expertise in influencing senior leadership and managing relationships to inspire confidence and maximise contributions across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong written, visual, presentational, and verbal communication skills at all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, with a proven ability to mobilise cross-functional teams, build consensus, and deliver shared objectives within complex environments.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Platform Migration Delivery Extensive experience leading end-to-end migration of products, services, or business functions to new technology platforms, ensuring both legacy and target platforms remain operationally stable and continue to deliver accurate outputs throughout the transition period, including effective management of parallel operations and cutover processes.
- Contractual and Legal Framework Transition Experience overseeing the legal, contractual, and operational changes required during technology or service migrations, including the review and update of agreements and regulatory documentation, to ensure compliance and continuity throughout transitions.
- Strategic Programme Delivery Strong track record of delivering large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes, preferably within asset management, wealth, or private markets, with evidence of collaboration across business, operations, technology, compliance, risk, and vendor management teams.
