Operations Manager
The Head of Operations provides administrative, financial, and operational leadership to support the effective running and strategic development of a boutique, international executive search firm. It's an exciting role where you will be a trusted advisor to senior management, the role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across finance, facilities, HR, systems, and corporate services, enabling the Partners and Consultants to focus on client delivery and revenue generation.
The position plays a critical role in governance, risk management, and business continuity, while also leading process improvement initiatives and technology adoption to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities Operational & Administrative Leadership- Provide operational and administrative support to the business, advising senior management on staff management, financial planning, facilities, and regulatory or procedural change
- Act as a central point of coordination across corporate services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Lead and implement operational improvements to support business growth and efficiency
- Project manage office moves, refurbishments, and space planning initiatives
- Oversee office improvements and ongoing facilities requirements
- Liaise with landlords, managing agents, and external contractors to ensure service delivery and cost control
- Partner with accountancy firm to support them in producing monthly financial reports using Sage and Xero
- Work closely with the Partners to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Liaise with external accountants on VAT and Corporation Tax submissions and year-end processing
- Manage company benefits, insurance policies, expenses and subscriptions
- Maintain oversight of financial compliance and internal controls
- Hold responsibility for credit control, including debt recovery across UK and international clients
- Oversee with partners the accounts payable and receivable processes
- Act as HR Manager for the business, overseeing the full employee lifecycle
- Lead team building, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes
- Support partners through performance, disciplinary procedures, redundancies, and employee relations matters
- Ensure with partners compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR policies
- Lead the implementation of new software and systems to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure up to date electronic expenses, HR, and administrative systems
- Drive adoption of technology across the business to support scalable operations
