Procurement Director - FM

My client are seeking a dynamic Procurement Director to lead and develop a procurement strategy that drives business growth, profitability, and market differentiation. This role will focus on building market-leading supplier partnerships while supporting our client in competing effectively within the Integrated FM sector.

• Lead all procurement activities, including bids, mobilisation of new contracts, and ongoing operations.
• Establish a sustainable, accredited, and high-performance supply chain, ensuring risk management and value delivery.
• Drive the Partner Excellence Programme, with a focus on soft services partnerships and FM growth in new markets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver strategic goals and business plans.
• Achieve cost savings and service performance improvements.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and preferred suppliers to ensure long-term success.
• Develop and execute Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies, making our client a partner of choice in the marketplace.
• Train stakeholders on procurement best practices and embed efficient tools and technologies.

• CIPS qualification (or equivalent) with substantial leadership experience at a strategic level.
• Strong commercial acuity with a proven track record in cost savings and supply chain risk reduction.
• Skilled in building strategic supplier relationships and navigating complex organisations.
• Experience in the operations/engineering aspect and FM supply chain is highly desirable.
• Solid expertise in supplier performance improvement, category management, contract negotiation, and financial analysis.
• Collaborative, driven, and skilled at influencing senior stakeholders.
