The Product Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a collection of programs and projects that collectively represent a major strategic investment area or organizational pillar. This role ensures portfolio activities are prioritized, funded, and executed in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Portfolio Manager serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing transparency into delivery performance, resource utilization, and value realization across the portfolio.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:
  • Strategic Portfolio Planning: Partner with senior leaders to understand the investment priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic roadmaps.
  • Performance and Value Management: Monitor portfolio delivery performance, measuring progress against key performance indicators, value realization targets, and strategic goals.
  • Resource and Financial Governance: Track the allocation of resources and budget across programs and projects, identifying opportunities and surfacing risks to leadership for decision-making.
  • Risk and Compliance Oversight: Establish governance standards for portfolio-level risk management and ensure adherence to enterprise risk tolerance and compliance expectations.
  • Stakeholder Reporting and Communication: Deliver executive facing portfolio updates and insights, enabling data-driven decisions on prioritization, funding, and capacity.
  • Continuous Improvement and Delivery Maturity: Define and implement consistent portfolio delivery standards, metrics, and dashboards that promote predictability and alignment across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners closely with Product Leads, Technology Leads, and other cross functional teams to ensure that investments are executing effectively to achieve the highest return on value.

  • Serves as a mentor and thought leader within the Delivery function, advancing portfolio maturity and discipline.
Experience and qualifications:
