Shift supervisor, Management

We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in Nitra, Slovakia. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading employees, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Plan and coordinate labor schedules based on forecasts.

Manage and organize daily activities of assigned employees.

Monitor KPI performance and Quality Metrics to maintain operational efficiency.

Provide backup support to the Shift Manager, acting as their representative during periods of absence.

Collaborate with operational departments to maintain a smooth workflow and maximum synergy.

Establish clear expectations for staff and lead by example.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and 5S workplace organization.

Oversee continuous supply chain operations for the assembly line.

Track and assess staff performance, including attendance, quality, and productivity, while managing department costs.

Minimum high school diploma (graduation required).

At least 2 years of experience in team management within a production or logistics company.

Fluent Slovak & English language skills would be advantageous

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to multitask, make informed decisions, and work under pressure.

Understanding of relevant procedures, documentation, and company policies.

Ability to quickly adapt to new knowledge and industry standards.

Willingness to work in shifts.

Thorough awareness of safety regulations and best practices.
