A North London Local Authority is recruiting for an Interim Development Partnerships Manager to lead the delivery of new housing supply on council-owned land through alternative delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the successful delivery of new housing developments in partnership with developers and affordable housing providers
Work closely with development partners to deliver high-quality, well-designed, energy-efficient homes
Maximise the delivery of genuinely affordable housing
Lead on the preparation and negotiation of development agreements and land transfer arrangements
Ensure all partnership agreements safeguard the Council's commercial and strategic interests
Manage large, complex development and regeneration programmes through to delivery

Experience & Knowledge Required

Proven experience working with developers and affordable housing providers to deliver new homes
Experience developing and negotiating residential development agreements
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes for residents and the authority
Experience managing complex development or regeneration programmes
Local authority experience highly desirable
