Fire Alarm Project Manager – London
Salary range: £45,000 – £55,000. Company Car and 25 days holiday.
Area of coverage:
London.
Job responsibilities include leading fire alarm projects from initial enquiry through to completion, managing projects valued between £250k and £2 million, full financial control, preparing work programmes, negotiating contract variations, highlighting potential problem areas, overseeing design of FA installs, preparing quotations and budgets, and supervising installation teams to meet BAFE standards.
- Manage projects between £250k – £2m.
- Deliver projects from enquiry to completion.
- Full financial control.
- Liaise with clients and departmental teams.
- Prepare work programmes to meet labour and deadline requirements.
- Negotiate contract variations.
- Identify potential problem areas and seek contractual advice.
- Oversee FA design.
- Prepare quotations.
- Develop budgets and take‑offs.
- Utilise install teams and oversee delivery to BAFE standards.
- Estimator experience.
- Knowledge of current British standards.
- Experience with fire detection and other equipment.
- Computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Office.
