A leading global law firm are seeking a Pitch Manager to join their team based in London. The role-holder will be responsible for implementing best practice across the global business development team to enhance pitching strategies and improve operational efficiency. A key focus of the role will be to ensure the BD team understands and adopts the new approach to improve overall win rates.

The

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading the firm’s pitch best practice approach for identified pitches, including responses to RFPs, Panels and ad hoc pitches across client tiers.
  • Collaborate with the BD team to ensure pitches are managed according to best-practice mythologies and using supporting tools available.
  • Identify and implement effective pitch best practice tactics that clearly communicate the value proposition, and deliver client focused responses.
  • Managing the strategic approach to pitching by consulting with relevant stakeholders to ensure bids and tenders are profitable and aligned with BD targets.
  • Preparing partners for client presentations, providing guidance on content and approach, overseeing rehearsals and producing compelling presentation material.
  • Responsible for reviewing successful and unsuccessful bids, gathering feedback from clients to assess the firm’s performance.
  • Manage the collection and dissemination of data on pitches and success rates, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the Pitch & Pursuits Best Practice programme
The Candidate
  • Previous business development / pitch experience at a manager level.
  • Experience working within a legal / professional services environment.
  • Ability to manage a project team to enable the completion of a scheduled workload.
  • Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems (preferably Inter Action), Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
