HGV Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive franchise-approved Commercial Vehicle Group, based in the Exeter area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours of 4-on/4-off, with a 06:00am-18:00pm position.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full‑time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

• Starting salary up to £22 per hour.
• Overtime, subject to availability, paid at time and a half rate.
• Access to a commitment bonus of £600 per annum, as well as a company profit share bonus paying £750 per annum.
• 23 days annual leave plus Christmas and New Year’s Day off (If these bank holidays fall on a day off, you shall gain a day off in lieu to compensate).

• Servicing, repair and maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of job sheets and documentation
• Liaising with the service department and parts department
• Completion of MOT preparation

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 licence may be beneficial to your application
