Job DescriptionJob Role: Cleaning Operative
Working Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 08:00-09:30, 3 hours per week
Pay: £15.49 per hour
Location: Cromwell Tools London - Unit 21-22 Muirhead Quay, Quay Road, Barking, London, IG11 7BG
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team in Barking, London.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.
Duties include:
- Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
- Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
- Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site andstaff safety
- Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
- Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
- Carrying out anyother reasonable management requests
- Good attention todetail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Flexibility to cover shifts as and when required
- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
