What you will be doing

As a Service Advantage Technician you will be providing customers with a professional and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair services on an increasingly broad range of equipment and devices that Ricoh support including audio‑visual, network devices, servers, routers, smart lockers.

Key Accountabilities
  • To provide a technical service to customers, including installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of Service Advantage products.
  • To embrace the core Ricoh value of Customer Centricity in ensuring customers receive outstanding service every time.
  • To drive self‑improvement and continuous professional development to keep up with ever‑changing demands in the technology sector and the rapidly expanding portfolio of products and services that Ricoh support.
  • To maximise revenue by identifying potential business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day‑to‑day duties.
  • Management and control of stock, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and to minimise stock losses.
Qualifications
  • Strong fundamental understanding of IT and systems
  • Good problem‑solving skills and a systematic approach
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Flexible approach to a varied and high‑pressure workload
  • Strong desire to learn and develop
  • Willingness to embrace change in a rapidly moving industry
