THE ROLEThe Order Fulfilment & Warehouse Operative will be a proactive, responsible, and highly organized individual, playing a key role in executing the daily order fulfilment, customer support and warehouse activities within the business. You will ensure that all deliveries and B2C/B2B customer orders are processed quickly and accurately and must have pick and pack or stock management experience in a warehouse or stock room.
Reporting to the Order Fulfilment & Warehouse Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is passionate about ensuring that all order fulfilment and customer service standards and KPIs are met.
Work Schedule:
This role is based at the warehouse in Haggerston, London. The contract is for 40 working hours per week (5 x 8 hour shifts) scheduled Mondays to Sundays between 7am and 8pm. For the avoidance of doubt, weekend shifts are required and late night shifts may be required. This is a 6 month temp contract.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to brand standards with speed and accuracy.
- Assist with courier claims for lost/damaged parcels.
- Execute inbound/outbound stock transfers (QC, organisation, documentation).
- Perform quality control checks on inbound stock and customer returns.
- Process customer returns in line with company policies.
- Assist with regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle faulty item workflows: logging, repairs, and reintegration.
- Support management with stock write-offs in line with finance/ops guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
- Support management with KPI and activity reports as required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in ecommerce fulfilment, customer service and/or a stock room/small warehouse operative role.
- Highly reliable, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using basic warehouse/ order fulfilment software/platforms.
- A collaborative team player who takes pride in getting things done.
- Comfortable working on your feet and able to lift and move boxes as required.
