Job Title: Paralegal

Our bikes reflect our values, creativity, and commitment to excellence. We’re looking for a proactive Paralegal to support Brompton’s in-house legal function. This role supports contracting, corporate governance, IP support, compliance, and general legal administration.
You will report to the General Counsel. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, commercial, confident and comfortable working with stakeholders across the business.
What you’ll be doing- Support the Legal Team with day-to-day operations, legal queries and administration.
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Draft NDAs.
- Assist with rollout of updated retail terms.
- Monitor legislative changes, horizon scan and support the business with changes in law; work with the Sustainability Team on ESG initiatives.
- Prepare and manage the leases master sheet to help manage Brompton’s property portfolio.
- Assist in the management of external counsel.
- Assist the Legal Team and the Design and Engineering Teams with IP portfolio management and IP enforcement, including takedown notices.
- Product compliance and handling customer claims.
- Coordinate document signatures (e-signature and wet ink).
- Assist with internal governance, compliance with internal procedures, and internal trackers.
- Organise document notarisation and app.
- Support invoice processing.
- A law degree from a top university, or an undergraduate degree with the PGDL or SQE
1. - Completion of the SQE2 would be a bonus.
- Paralegal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Interest in retail/manufacturing/design.
- Willingness to take ownership of all tasks, from mundane to strategic.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enjoy working in a busy team.
- Ability to juggle shifting priorities.
- A positive attitude.
