We are working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Junior Litigator to join their in-house legal team, supported by the infrastructure and reputation of a recognised law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and motivated litigator with solid property litigation experience to take on a varied and hands-on role within a collaborative environment.
The position would suit someone who is confident managing their own matters, enjoys problem-solving, and is keen to continue developing their litigation skills within a busy and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of property-related litigation matters
- Assisting on more complex disputes as required
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and settlement agreements
- Attending and representing the organisation in court proceedings, mediations and negotiations (rights of audience would be advantageous)
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a high standard of legal and client service
- Keeping up to date with developments in property and litigation law
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales
- Minimum of 3 years’ PQE with a strong background in property litigation
- Experience handling both residential and commercial property disputes
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage matters independently with appropriate supervision
- Proactive, solution-focused and commercially aware
- Experience in general commercial disputes is desirable
This is a fully office-based role and requires daily attendance at the Battersea office. Hybrid or remote working is not available for this position.
