Position: Criminal Defence Paralegal (Permanent)
My client, a well-established high street criminal defence firm in North West London, is known for its hands-on approach, strong client relationships, and reputation for high-quality representation in both legally aided and private criminal defence work.

This is a real-world role for someone who thrives in the thick of criminal work, from police station attendances to supporting solicitors through all stages of proceedings. You’ll gain broad exposure to criminal cases, develop practical skills, and play a crucial role in defending clients at pivotal moments in their lives.

The Role

Attend police stations as an Accredited Police Station Representative, sometimes independently.
Support solicitors with case preparation, client care, and magistrates’ court matters.
Get hands-on experience with a wide range of criminal cases, from minor offences to serious matters.
Work in a structured, professional environment that values frontline criminal defence and development.

The Candidate

Criminal Defence Paralegal with Police Station Accreditation.
Strong commitment to criminal defence and publicly funded work.
Proven experience in a criminal law practice, either as a paralegal or support staff.
Confident managing police station attendances independently and handling urgent matters under pressure.
Proactive, organised, and practical, with excellent client-focused communication skills.
