Overview

Dispute Resolution Solicitor
Highly Progressive, Flexible, Leading L500

A leading London law firm, recognised in the Legal 500 and The Times Best Law Firms, is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its highly regarded litigation team.

The firm has a long standing reputation for delivering high quality legal advice with a strong emphasis on client care, collaboration and modern working practices. Lawyers benefit from a supportive culture, investment in technology and a clear commitment to professional development.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding dispute resolution team handling a broad mix of property litigation and commercial litigation matters. You will act for private individuals and small to medium sized businesses, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver practical, strategic advice.

  • Residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Possession claims
  • Disrepair and dilapidations
  • Service charge disputes
  • Lease renewals and rent reviews
  • A range of commercial and civil litigation matters such as contractual disputes, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, debt recovery and injunctions.

You will have responsibility for managing your own matters with appropriate supervision, contributing to business development and working collaboratively across the firm to provide a joined up service to clients.

The Candidate

You will be a qualified solicitor with upwards of 3 years post qualification experience and a solid grounding in both property litigation and commercial litigation. Experience of working with privately paying clients is essential.

  • You will be confident running your own caseload, have strong communication and client care skills, and demonstrate good commercial awareness.
  • An interest in business development and advocacy experience would be welcomed, although advocacy is not essential.
The Firm

The firm is ranked in the Legal 500 and recognised by The Times Best Law Firms. It offers a modern, paperless working environment, flexible working arrangements and a genuinely supportive and inclusive culture. There is a clear framework for progression and ongoing training, making this an excellent long term opportunity.
