The Real Estate Disputes department advises on high-value, high-profile and complex property litigation, alongside traditional real estate disputes.
With specialist expertise in the Building Safety Act, the living sector and development disputes, the team handles matters including dilapidations, lease renewals, rent review, professional negligence and general property management work. With three of the seven partners based in London, supported by a strong group of experienced solicitors, the team offers significant depth of expertise. Working collaboratively with the wider Real Estate practice, the role provides a strong platform to build client relationships, enhance the team's reputation and develop your professional profile.
Joining the firm's highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team, you will advise on a varied caseload including dilapidations, lease renewals, rent review, professional negligence and general property management work. You will act for an impressive client base of institutional landlords, well-known retailers, leading investors, developers and infrastructure companies. Your work will involve advising on a full range of landlord and tenant matters, including contested and uncontested lease renewals, dilapidation claims, service of break notices, forfeiture and possession actions.
You will also gain exposure to building safety, rights of light, joint ventures and emerging areas within the sector, providing excellent opportunities to broaden and develop your experience. As an Associate, you will become a key member of a high-performing, cohesive and busy team, contributing to the mentoring of trainees and paralegals while receiving support from senior team members on more complex matters.
