Contract/Commercial Lawyer – Global Advisory Firm

Location: Hybrid – UK (3 days in office)

I’m working with a leading organisation within the advisory space looking for a Contract/Commercial Lawyer to manage their growing legal workload around contingent labour, contractors, and global mobility. This is an interim role with potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.

• Managing suppliers, RPOs, and recruitment service providers.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including IR35, payroll, and employment rights compliance.
• Supporting international contracts and US/UK recruitment channels.
• Assisting with succession planning as the Head of Legal retires.
• Stepping into a high-impact role to manage temporary workload and drive legal initiatives.

• Is a qualified solicitor with 2–3+ years PQE (more experienced candidates also welcome).
• Has strong experience in the recruitment sector, especially contingent/contract labour.
• Is ambitious, commercially minded, and confident managing projects independently.
• Has experience with IR35, payroll, and employment rights compliance.
• Dual US qualification is a bonus.

• Interim 2–6 months, with potential to become permanent.
• Hybrid working: in-office 3 days, flexible elsewhere.
