Senior Legal Counsel – Capital Markets & Corporate

We are seeking a senior corporate lawyer (6+ PQE) to step into a high‑impact, standalone legal role within a leading capital markets and advisory business. This position sits at the heart of the deal team and offers exceptional exposure to senior leadership and complex transactions in a truly collaborative environment.

🔎 The Opportunity

Following a recent organisational shift, the business is reshaping its legal function and hiring a commercially minded, pragmatic lawyer to act as the primary legal lead across all transactional activity

You’ll work directly with the CEO and senior executives
, supporting a wide variety of ECM, M&A, corporate and commercial matters, while helping to strengthen governance and processes as the business grows.

• Commercial contracts
• Real estate and property documentation
• Compliance and share capital matters
• Employment issues (where required)

• Work closely with the CEO and C‑suite
• Integrate into banker‑heavy deal teams
• Maintain high standards of governance and risk management

• 6+ PQE corporate lawyer (private practice or in‑house)
• Strong ECM experience — confident executing independently
• Comfortable with private M&A
• Ability to form a view, challenge constructively, and operate with autonomy
