Hybrid/London – 1-2 days per week in office with a Tuesday being mandatory

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £39.89 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for an Employment Team Lawyer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

• Manage a caseload of employment tribunal cases.
• Prepare cases for hearings (front-loading work for hearings in 2027–2028).
• Draft disclosure documents, witness statements, and correspondence.
• Provide employment law advice, occasionally touching on other areas.
• Maintain accurate records in the case management system.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external solicitors as needed

• Qualified solicitor (admitted by the Law Society) – non-negotiable.
• Minimum 5 years PQE preferred (open to 4 years if experience is strong
• Resilience & ability to manage competing demands – fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management & ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills – liaising with clients, tribunals, and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and switch priorities quickly.
• Proficiency in IT systems and electronic case management.
