The Opportunity

Quantexa is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded lawyer to join our high‑performing Legal team as a trusted partner to the General Counsel. This role supports a wide range of legal matters across our fast‑growing, international business and offers real exposure to strategic decision‑making. Our Legal team is driven to deliver world‑class support and practical, innovative solutions that enable our business leaders to focus on creating meaningful impact for our clients, colleagues, and long‑term strategy.

You’ll bring strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside sharp attention to detail and a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented mindset. Curious, agile, and commercially aware, you’ll be comfortable navigating complexity and turning legal insight into clear, actionable advice. The role has a primary focus on EMEA legal matters and business growth, while also offering the opportunity to gain broad international experience across a rapidly scaling organisation.

You’ll work closely with, and report directly to, Quantexa’s General Counsel.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions to support the Legal team’s objectives and Quantexa’s wider ambitions.
  • Building trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and business leaders across the organisation.
  • Acting as a key legal lead for EMEA matters, based from our London HQ, while contributing to global and central legal initiatives.
  • Providing clear, commercially grounded advice on strategic risks, mitigations, and improved ways of working.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including software licences, reseller agreements, professional services and outsourcing contracts, hosting arrangements, and collaboration agreements.
  • Assessing and mitigating compliance and reputational risks, including anti‑bribery and corruption matters.
  • Supporting company secretarial, corporate governance, and wider corporate compliance activities.
  • Advising on data privacy risks and supporting the implementation of company‑wide legal initiatives.
  • Working closely with leading external counsel across multiple jurisdictions and building strong international partnerships.
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience, either in‑house or in private practice.
  • Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to identify and communicate legal risks clearly and propose pragmatic, business‑focused mitigation strategies.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts in an international context.
  • Proven ability to support and manage third‑party engagements and partnerships, providing clear legal advice that enables business outcomes.
  • Customer‑focused, taking pride in providing responsive, high‑quality legal support that makes it easier for teams to operate confidently.
  • Ideally, experience with corporate governance matters and/or exposure to regulated environments such as financial services, government, or public sector contexts.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced, scaling business, managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, with the ability to navigate differing legal frameworks and cultural environments.
