Responsibilities

• Deal with taxable estates
• Draft wills
• Advise on inheritance tax
• Draft lasting powers of attorney
• Advise on trusts
• Prepare Court of Protection applications in relation to property and financial affairs
• Manage deputy files

Directories-listed Private Client team in London seeks a Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts) lawyer 4 or more years’ PQE with excellent academics who can demonstrate a breadth of experience and a keen desire to develop their knowledge and practice. The successful candidate can expect to undertake a range of private client work in a supportive collegiate team that is widely recognised for its expertise in this area.

The client base is varied but they exclusively act for high-net worth individuals and their families who are UK-based as well as advising international clients.

You will also regularly work with other teams including Trusts & Estates Disputes, Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Property and Family.
