Private Client Solicitor

Overview

The Role We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our team. You will manage your own caseload, supervise support staff, and provide expert advice to clients, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• This role involves, but is not limited to:
• Effectively managing your own time, meeting chargeable and non-chargeable hours targets.
• Working on files including drafting letters, collating evidence, and preparing cost letters.
• Handling new client enquiries and providing guidance at the outset of matters.
• Managing all legal documentation confidentially and securely.
• Attending client meetings, taking instructions, and preparing cases.
• Conducting matters in line with client instructions.
• Supervising support staff, including Paralegals and Legal Secretaries.
• Overseeing financial control, including cashflow management and billing.
• Providing clients with regular updates on their matters.
• Addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
• Preparing and submitting required documents to court prior to trial.

• Legally qualified solicitor.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Specialist knowledge in Private Client Law.
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
