The RoleThis role sits within a well developed in-house legal function that supports multiple markets and works closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Reporting into a senior international legal leader, you will play a key role in supporting the business on a wide range of commercial matters and contracts. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys balancing legal rigour with commercial pragmatism in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including framework, supplier, distribution, technology, software, marketing services, confidentiality agreements, and statements of work.
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor on day-to-day commercial issues, identifying, assessing, and managing legal and regulatory risk.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of contract management processes and ways of working within the legal function.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual arrangements support business objectives, compliance requirements, and key commercial initiatives, including strategic projects.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
- You are a UK qualified, commercially minded lawyer who is comfortable operating in an in-house environment and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- You have strong experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
- You offer a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- This is a hybrid role requiring office presence 3 days a week (and 2 days from home).
- The working hours can be flexible.
