12-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to go permanent) up to £80,000 p.a., with a well-established, internationally operating company with a strong UK presence and a genuinely collaborative culture.

About the Company

Our client is a global leader in premium consumer products. The company has built its reputation on innovation, trust, and performance, supported by a culture that prizes integrity, teamwork, and accountability. Employees describe it as a place where curiosity meets purpose — a business grounded in science but driven by care.

With a strong growth trajectory and a commitment to ethical business practices, this is a company where you can shape the future of a respected global brand while contributing to meaningful change.

The Role

This role sits within a well developed in-house legal function that supports multiple markets and works closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Reporting into a senior international legal leader, you will play a key role in supporting the business on a wide range of commercial matters and contracts. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys balancing legal rigour with commercial pragmatism in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including framework, supplier, distribution, technology, software, marketing services, confidentiality agreements, and statements of work.
  • Serve as a trusted legal advisor on day-to-day commercial issues, identifying, assessing, and managing legal and regulatory risk.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of contract management processes and ways of working within the legal function.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual arrangements support business objectives, compliance requirements, and key commercial initiatives, including strategic projects.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
About You
  • You are a UK qualified, commercially minded lawyer who is comfortable operating in an in-house environment and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have strong experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
  • You offer a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
Mode of working
  • This is a hybrid role requiring office presence 3 days a week (and 2 days from home).
  • The working hours can be flexible.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial lawyer within a globally connected organisation, with the potential for longer-term progression.
