The Role

Working as part of a high-performing global arbitration team, you will act on major international disputes, with a particular focus on infrastructure and large-scale construction projects involving multiple jurisdictions. The work is intellectually rigorous, commercially significant, and offers an unparalleled platform for developing your expertise in cross-border arbitration.

Key responsibilities include
  • Developing and implementing case strategy in collaboration with partners and senior lawyers.
  • Drafting complex written submissions and managing junior team members in the process.
  • Overseeing research and document review.
  • Assisting in the preparation of witness and expert evidence.
  • Liaising directly with clients, experts, and tribunals.
  • Supporting partners on thought leadership and business development initiatives, including client briefings and international conferences.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with 3-6 years' PQE.
  • Experience in complex international arbitration, handling construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure disputes, including technical, delay, and quantum-related issues.
  • A strong academic record and exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Additional language capabilities would be advantageous.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive written advocacy.
  • Strong analytical ability and creativity in solving complex legal and factual issues.
  • In-depth understanding of arbitration procedure and related court processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high professional standards.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles.
