Senior Legal Counsel – Go‑to‑Market (GtM) Legal TeamYou will work closely with the GtM Legal team, the wider GtM team, and other legal professionals worldwide with a focus on EMEA to provide critical support across a range of legal matters.
Your Responsibilities- Draft, review and negotiate complex B2B commercial agreements, including SaaS, MSA, DPAs.
- Work on public sector and agentic AI (DeepL Agent) matters.
- Provide the GtM team with experienced advice on a wide variety of complex commercial legal matters, identify risks throughout the customer lifecycle process and suggest pragmatic solutions.
- Support the improvement of internal processes within the GtM organisation.
- Develop and maintain the templates of the GtM Legal team.
- Draft and conduct training and self‑help materials and guidelines for both the GtM and the GtM Legal team as well as other key stakeholders worldwide.
- Fully qualified UK or German counsel or comparable with at least seven years of experience in internal legal departments (preferably in a technology company).
- Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating B2B contracts and SaaS contracts.
- Good knowledge of UK and German law, preferably also experience with contracts under US or Japanese law.
- Excellent communication skills with different target groups (especially GtM team) and hierarchical levels.
- Ability to prioritize and organise workload according to risks and company requirements in time‑sensitive matters.
- Willingness to work in a highly demanding, fast‑changing environment with a business mindset, openness, and problem‑solving skills.
- Team player with an independent approach to work and strong social skills.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German) are an advantage.
