Adult Social Care Lawyer

A local authority based in North London is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will join the councils Safeguarding Team to undertake the full remit of work. Your work will include:
Court of Protection, DOLs, S21A applications, safeguarding, homelessness, care act, education, Judicial review matters, leaving care rights, s17 Children act, Mental Health Act and other types of adult social care work.

The council works collaboratively and requires office attendance 2 days per week. You must be a Solicitor, Barrister or Fellows of CILEX with a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.

The role is full time for 35 hours per week and is paying £34.04 PAYE or £42.46 umbrella.

Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
