Senior Marine & Energy Liability Claims Adjuster

We are recruiting for a Senior Marine & Energy Liability Claims Adjuster, on behalf of a leading start-up Lloyd's Syndicate. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Marine & Energy Liability claims, as well as handling complex cases.

Key Responsibilities Providing leadership for Marine & Energy Liability technical claims with oversight for accurate and timely case reserves and payments. Accountability for making decisions on the largest and most complex losses. Holding a high level of authority and overseeing areas where delegation of reserving, payment and settlement authority has been given to more junior internal staff. Being the claims technical leader, technical guru and an industry thought leader.

Designing best in class processes and drafting documents. Creating and nurturing collaborative relationships with the Product leaders. Key Requirements Global Marine complex claims experience is critical. Extensive technical claims expertise and demonstrable working knowledge of the most significant and complex claims, ideally gained from working for a Lead insurer. A solutions orientated mindset working with Clients and Brokers in stressful situations.

A rich pedigree of leadership experience, comfortable to lead from the front. A passion for data analytics and using trends to drive better outcomes. An agile, flexible and change orientated mindset, and someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to juggle many priorities. ;
