Responsibilities- Accurate preparation of DUA documentation (i.e. Binding Authority slips, endorsements, etc.)
- Lead a sub-team to ensure technical oversight and adherence to deadlines
- Liaise with our supporting premium and claims advocate team to ensure all premiums and claims are paid on time and organize chasing where appropriate
- Preparation of statistics, including pivoting data and generating up-to-date reports
- Providing advice to colleagues on scope of coverage available and assisting clients and underwriters with interpretation of clauses
- Collecting and analysing relevant information and assisting in preparation of market submissions and presentations for new business or renewals
- Using Lloyd’s systems such as DCOM, PPL, Atlas & Crystal as well as Aon in-house systems (training will be provided for Aon systems)
- Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company
- Understanding of the insurance market dynamics and core processes
- Demonstrate team leadership skills, setting deadlines and motivating staff
- Technical DUA insurance knowledge; ability to build insurance documentation, use insurance industry IT systems to deliver client service
- Problem‑solving skills; interpersonal skills; good level of numeracy; effective communication and presentation skills; understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
- Ability to work well as part of a team; demonstrate integrity and professionalism
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
