About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Insurance Account Handler / Client Executive to play a key role in supporting our clients and delivering exceptional insurance solutions. This position requires strong technical insurance knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail.
You will work closely with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure policies are accurately managed, compliant, and tailored to clients' evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and requests
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Understand client insurance needs and provide tailored advice and solutions
- Support clients with policy enquiries, changes, and renewals
- Ensure accuracy of policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate and secure appropriate coverage terms
- Analyse client risk profiles to identify coverage gaps and improvement opportunities
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments
- Ensure all policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations
- Keep clients informed of regulatory changes and their impact
- Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic client files
- Prepare and deliver portfolio reports to clients as required
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products
- Collaborate with colleagues to support business growth initiatives
- Deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly and professionally
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Conduct peer quality checks to minimise errors and ensure accuracy
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles and insurance regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Acturis insurance software and Microsoft Office
