Actuarial Analyst - Pricing

Pricing insight is powerful. Portfolio insight is decisive. A leading specialty insurer is looking to strengthen its Actuarial Pricing team, hiring an analyst to deliver pricing support and portfolio analysis across European and Lloyd's business. This is a highly visible role where analytics directly influence underwriting decisions, pricing strategy, and portfolio performance.

• Deliver pricing and portfolio analysis across multiple lines, supporting underwriting and business planning.
• Enhance and embed rating models, tools, and pricing guidance across regions and products.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to produce meaningful MI, profitability insight, and portfolio metrics.
• Support large account pricing, strategic initiatives, and senior stakeholder reporting.

• General insurance actuarial or pricing experience within the London or European market.
• Strong data and analytical capability (Excel essential; SQL, R or Python highly advantageous).
• Commercially minded communicator, confident presenting insight to underwriters and senior stakeholders.
• Hybrid working, strong exposure to senior decision-makers, and genuine scope to broaden into predictive analytics and strategic pricing work.
