I’m working with a Lloyd’s insurer to hire an Actuarial Pricing Analyst who will support across all lines of business.

• Detailed analysis of the pricing function.
• Supporting the enhancement of embedding or rating models.
• Undertaking large account pricing for all lines of business and regions.
• Carrying out other aspects of the pricing and underwriting control cycle including portfolio profitability and rate reviews.
• Analysis in support of strategic initiatives and business planning cycle.
• Underwriter training.
• Engaging in predictive analytics projects with a pricing focus.

• Prior technical insurance experience and/or wider actuarial experience.
• The ability to understand large volumes of data.
• Experience in predictive analytics.

• Excel is necessary.
• @Risk, ResQ, R, Python, XML, SQL, VBA, Tableau or Alteryx would be a distinct advantage.

This role will pay up to £70,000 but you must have insurance experience and a requirement to undertake or continue the actuarial exams
