Private Client Insurance Broker
An established insurance brokerage is looking to appoint a Private Client / High Net Worth Insurance Broker to join a growing private clients function. The role sits within a close-knit and forward-thinking team environment, where collaboration and client service are central to the culture. While the position is primarily broking-focused, there is scope for the successful individual to become more involved in team development, knowledge sharing, and supporting business growth initiatives over time.
You will take responsibility for a combination of inherited clients and ongoing new business activity, contributing to both retention and growth objectives. The business supports proactive relationship-building and provides the tools and budget required to attend networking events and engage with professional introducers. This is a full time, Monday - Friday position with some hybrid working available. The salary for this role is circa £40,000 plus benefits and a very sociable, friendly environment with small events happening every couple of weeks.
- Manage and advise on a portfolio of High Net Worth and Private Client insurance risks
- Deliver a high standard of service across renewals and new business
- Develop long‑term relationships with high‑value clients and referral partners
- Act as a senior presence within the team, supporting less experienced colleagues where appropriate
- Contribute to business development and client acquisition strategies
Administrative and technical support is provided by a dedicated support function, allowing you to focus on advice, client relationships and commercial outcomes.
Candidate Requirements- Cert CII qualified (or above), or working towards
- Proven experience within High Net Worth / Private Client insurance (circa 5+ years)
- Working knowledge of Acturis
- Strong understanding of complex personal risks and high‑value assets
- Commercially minded, with a collaborative and team‑oriented approach
- Comfortable working in an office‑based environment as part of a wider team
