The role sits within the UK Property segment, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and forward‑thinking team, shaping the future of corporate property underwriting in the region.

London office.

• Handling renewal and new business within agreed parameters for large London property accounts.
• Analysis of information for underwriting purposes, specifically regarding account pricing, engineering overviews and account performance analysis.
• Attend client presentations and meetings, with travel when required.
• Adherence to all financial, legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Liaising and developing strong relationships with insurance and reinsurance brokers.
• Working closely with claims, actuarial and exposure management teams.
• Ad-hoc tasks & projects.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience underwriting commercial property risks within the London market.
• Good understanding of London Market processes, broker distribution, and policy wordings.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a team‑oriented approach.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
• ACII or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Ability to organise efficiently.
• Comprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office Excel, etc.
