An exciting opportunity is now available for a Platform Engineer to support a major Multi-Cloud Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiative, focused on enhancing and deploying a strategic enterprise backup solution across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.

This role is to transition from Net Backup to Commvault, helping define and implement a robust, cloud‑native backup strategy across multiple business units.

• Support the design and deployment of a Multi-Cloud BCP backup solution
• Replace Net Backup with Commvault across the enterprise
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather backup requirements (HR, Finance, Tech etc.)
• Help automate deployment and integrate systems like SAS, Snap Logic, ECP
• Build and optimise backup workflows across AWS and Azure

• Enterprise Backup:
  Strong experience with Commvault and/or Net Backup; familiar with AWS Backup, Azure Backup, and snapshot-based protection. Understanding of enterprise storage and archive strategies
• Automation & Scripting:
  Proficient in Power Shell (including Vapor Shell), some Python experience, and familiarity with automation pipelines
• Cloud Platforms:
  Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC) and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments
• Infrastructure as Code:
  Skilled with Terraform, Puppet for config management, and Git Hub version control
• Operating Systems:
  Comfortable with Windows Server and Linux administration

• Up to £525 per day (Inside IR35)
