What to expect

As a Digital Proposition Specialist, you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role working within the Marketing & Digital team and reporting to the Digital Product & Proposition Manager

As a Digital Proposition Specialist, you will play a key role in optimising our digital channels and improving customer experience across Post Office products. You’ll support the delivery of initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across our web and app platforms, using performance data, customer insights, and market trends to inform decisions.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Digital, Commercial, and Product teams to identify opportunities and translate them into clear, actionable plans. You’ll contribute to roadmap development, support delivery planning, and help ensure initiatives are aligned with business priorities and customer needs.

You’ll also collaborate with other product managers and cross-functional teams to monitor performance, share insights, and continuously improve our digital proposition. Your work will help shape the future of our digital products, contributing to both customer satisfaction and commercial success.

What you’ll need to succeed Experience
  • Proven track record in digital product or proposition management, ideally within a multi‑channel or consumer‑facing business
  • Ability to understand and translate business and technical problems.
  • Digital product management / Product Owner certified or similar is preferable but not essential.
  • Relevant experience and a portfolio of work that demonstrates conception to delivery across a range of different projects, products, and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of the digital development process (e.g. Design, Development, UAT, regression, pen testing) and agile delivery.
  • Highly collaborative communicator. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build key relationships with wider teams including technology, product and third parties.
  • Solid understanding of agile tools required to facilitate the operation of the team (Jira experience desirable, but not essential.)
  • Good understanding of the importance of digital accessibility, its application and governance of standards for organisations.
  • Personal drive to challenge the status quo, to improve the customer and colleague experience, and ways of working.
  • Ability to manage multiple sets of engagement and analysis activity at the same time.
  • Knowledge of best practice and a genuine passion for Digital.
