Nomu Pay is a fast-growing global payments and fintech business, helping merchants move money seamlessly across borders. As we continue to scale our commercial organisation, we’re hiring a Solutions Consultant to sit at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Technology.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role with ownership over technical discovery, solution design, and deal enablement across the UK, EMEA, and APAC. You’ll play a critical role in translating complex payment requirements into scalable, compliant solutions for mid-market and enterprise merchants.
The RoleAs a Solutions Consultant, you’ll partner closely with Sales to drive revenue by designing, positioning, and validating Nomu Pay’s payment solutions during the pre‑sales cycle.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects, leading deep discovery sessions, mapping business and technical requirements, and demonstrating how Nomu Pay’s platform solves complex cross-border payment challenges.
This role suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement, and operating in a fast‑paced fintech environment, with a strong balance of commercial awareness and technical depth.
What You’ll Be Doing- Partner with Sales on qualified opportunities to support discovery, solution design, and deal progression
- Lead technical and commercial discovery sessions with merchants and partners
- Design tailored payment solutions across acquiring, APMs, payouts, and APIs
- Deliver product demos, workshops, and solution walkthroughs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Translate customer requirements into clear solution architectures and implementation approaches
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding insights back to Product and Engineering
- Support RFPs, technical questionnaires, and compliance‑led sales cycles
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to validate feasibility
- Ensure proposed solutions align with regulatory, operational, and risk requirements
- Support handover from Sales to Implementation for a smooth post‑sale transition
- 3–7+ years’ experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Pre‑Sales, or Technical Consultant role
- Background in fintech, payments, SaaS, or enterprise technology
- Strong understanding of payment flows, APIs, integrations, and merchant ecosystems
- Experience supporting mid‑market and enterprise sales cycles
- Comfortable engaging with technical teams, product leaders, and senior commercial stakeholders
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with a consultative sales approach
- Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.)
- Hands‑on experience with payments, acquiring, APMs, payouts, or embedded finance
- Exposure to regulated or compliance‑driven sales environments
- Experience supporting international or multi‑region deals (EMEA or APAC)
- Ability to balance technical depth with commercial impact
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills in customer‑facing scenarios
