The RoleThis Amazon Associate role is a hands-on, performance-focused position at the centre of the company’s marketplace growth strategy. The role combines paid media ownership with broader commercial optimisation, offering the chance to move beyond pure PPC into full SKU-level performance management.
You’ll be deeply embedded in day-to-day trading, using data to drive decisions across advertising, pricing, promotions, content, and discoverability. While Amazon is the primary focus, the role also offers exposure to additional platforms as the business expands. It’s well suited to someone with strong technical PPC experience who’s keen to broaden their scope and influence.
Key Responsibilities- Own and optimise paid media activity across Amazon, with exposure to additional marketplaces
- Drive SKU-level performance through a combination of advertising, pricing, promotions, SEO, and creative optimisation
- Design and run structured experimentation across trade levers to improve on-platform result
- Analyse performance data daily to identify opportunities and risks
- Execute product launches, deal events, and sponsored creative initiatives
- Research competitors and best-in-class marketplace strategies to inform continuous improvement
- A highly analytical mindset with a strong reliance on data to guide decisions
- Deep hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC across multiple campaign types and regions
- Comfort working with advanced Amazon data sources and new analytics features
- A test-and-learn mentality, with a bias toward experimentation over over analysis
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain performance drivers to non-specialists
- Practical experience using AI to improve workflows, insights, or execution
- Experience managing brands with strong seasonal trading patterns
- Familiarity with high-volume branded search environment
- Exposure to additional platforms such as DSP, Walmart, or Tik Tok Shop
- Confidence operating “in the detail” while still understanding the bigger commercial picture
- Curiosity, ownership, and a desire to continuously improve performance
