We are working with a client delivering critical national security programmes and are seeking an experienced Automation Tester. This is a hands‑on role within a secure environment, supporting the development of systems that have a direct impact on national security.

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks
• Execute automated and manual tests across complex secure systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, Dev Ops, and delivery teams in Agile environments
• Identify defects early and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Support CI/CD pipelines and overall test strategy

• Active eDV clearance (essential)
• Strong experience in automation testing
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar
• Knowledge of Agile / Dev Ops practices
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and backend services
• Must be able to work on‑site in Cheltenham

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
• Exposure to performance, security, or non‑functional testing
• Previous experience on government or national security programmes
